A-kon Fashion Show (Behind the scenes)

Convention fashion shows are always so fun to me. As a person who has modeled in 11 fashion shows over the past 6 years, I've just never grow tired of the busy atmosphere. Conventions are unique in the modeling world, as almost all of the models are volunteers and are chosen by the designers of the showcased brands for that event. This year, instead of the runway, I decided to don the title of press and document backstage from early morning until late afternoon the day of the show. Many people never get to see the effort put in by all to make the show run smoothly and give the audience lasting memories while promoting the artistic ability of the brands designers. A-kon's 90 minute J-fashion showcase featured an ambitious 6 brands this year, with 3 japanese designers brought to us by FakeStar
-Ota-q Apparel
-I Do Declare
- Baby the stars shine bright
-Alice and the pirates

Here is your sneak peek at what its like to model for fashion brands at A-kon.
